We have a well rounded variety of choirs which represent all age groups. Not only do they provide a glorious addition to the worship life of our congregation, they also provide musical education for the young. We are always anxious to invite new members to our choirs. If you have an interest in being a part of any of the choirs, simply speak to the director or the pastor. |
The Wicks pipe organ was custom built for Grace United Methodist Church in 1961 and played for the first time on Palm Sunday 1962. It is a two-manual (keyboard) instrument with 18 ranks and 1,073 pipes, which range in length from a few inches to a full 16 feet. The chimes were given by the Ladies Aid in 1951 in memory of Rev. P.A. Kasey. The Young Chang concert grand piano, given by an anonymous donor, is a superb instrument, constructed in Korea from straight-grain, aged Alaskan spruce. |
