Sunday

9:00 a.m.   Sanctuary worship designed to provide a comprehensive inclusion of choral, hand bell, ensemble and drama elements.  This service incorporate forms which are largely accepted in mainstream currents of United Methodist worship. 

 

10:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. – Sunday School:  A time of studying the Word in small groups and Sunday School Classes

 

11:15 a.m.  – Journey Worship:  An inviting and informal contemporary worship service that takes place in Fellowship Hall.

Called Church Conference

There will be a called Church Conference, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 6:00pm in the Rasche Room for the purpose of discussion and voting on renovation of church property.

 

Meal Delivery for Cape Senior Center

Since Meals on Wheels ended, the Cape Senior Center has added many new participants to its program. Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals, put food in the containers that go out on the varies routes or help in the kitchen on the serving line. If you are interested please call the Cape Senior Center or sign up on your attendance sheet.

 

2012 Candle Burning

“Hide my light under a bushel. NO!!! I’m gonna let it shine.”  Remember this song from childhood?  Join the UMW in letting your light shine for world missions. The Candle Burning envelope in the bulletin invites you to let your light shine by supporting the United Methodist Church mission program worldwide.  The Candle Burning will be May 27th.  The cost per minute for world missions is $28.07.

 

Thursday Luncheon

The Third Thursday Luncheon for May will be May 24th (instead of May 17th)  in Fellowship Center.  Cost is $2.00 per person.  Sign up on your attendance sheet or the bulletin board by the church office.
